Strong coffee has been our trademark ever since we started in 1993. Strong coffee delivers big flavor, and it's flavor that makes coffee worth drinking. Quality demands that we buy green coffee with flavor that walks off the cupping table and grabs you by the lapels. When you can brew coffee at eye-watering strength and find only good flavors in your cup, you know it's Alterra.
Strength and quality drive our roasting operations, our cafes, and our bakery. We realize that strength and quality are guiding business and life principles and utilize them throughout our organization. With these in mind, we promote strong local communities, forge quality relationships with our growers and suppliers, maintain a strong financial bottom line, and foster the quality redevelopment of urban buildings.
